The second week of preparation ended with a success for Massimo Eccheli’s Vero Volley Monza, which arrived, with this morning’s technical session, on the fourteenth day of training after the summer “holidays”. Many weights, under the orders of the athletic trainer Pietro Muneratti, and technique, with the full Monza staff, filled the days of the “blue”, who since last Monday have also embraced the Croatian lifter Petar Visic.
To the eight athletes of the first men’s team (Beretta, Federici, Grozer, Pirazzoli, Magliano, Davyskiba, Di Martino and Visic in fact), as well as the young Mariani, Taiwo, Caporossi and Frascio, involved in these first stages of preparation, in this third week two other players will be added coming from the World Cup. They are the opposite Arthur Szwarc and spiker Stephen Maar, eliminated with Canada in the group stage of the world championship, arriving respectively on 7 September in the afternoon and 9 in the morning. The one starting on Monday, with a session of weights and techniques, will also be the week that will see the Brianza on the field in the first joint training of the season: Saturday 10 September, at 16.00, against the Serie A2 team of Cantù, at the Arena of Monza. The pre-championship appointments of the Brianza will continue with two test matches with the same Padua Volleyball category, yet to be confirmed, and the quadrangular of Biella together with Modena, Trento and Civitanova, on 24 and 25 September.
