New arrival at Maury’s Com Cavi Tuscania. To strengthen the spikers department comes Mauro Sacripanti from Aversa.
Roman born in ’98 for 188 cm in height, he has in his palmarés an Italian Cup of A2 won in 2018 with Civita Castellana and numerous trophies and an Italian title obtained in beach volleyball.
His volleyball career begins in the youth sector of Sempione Volley before joining M Roma Volley. In the 2014/2015 season he moved to Segrate (MI), where he graduated vice-champion of Italy u17 and took part in the B1 championship. In the following five seasons he returned to Lazio where he played three Serie A2 championships and one Serie B with JVC Civita Castellana with whom he won an A2 Italian Cup. In between, a parenthesis in Anguillara, in the 2018-19 season, always in Serie B. In the last two seasons he has established himself in Aversa, in Serie A3, where he was always among the best spikers in the category.
Not only volleyball in his career, Mauro is also a Beach Volleyball champion.
“For seven years I have been playing paired with Manuel Alfieri (setter from Modica ed) – he says – for the colors of the 4 Vele Beach Volley Academy Pescara. With him we won the Italian U21 title in 2017 and we won in various stages of the Italian championship including Catania and Palinuro, the latter was one of the most important because it awarded the gold jersey. Last year we were in the running until the end for the Scudetto, then finishing in third place “.
Also noteworthy is the title of King of the Beach, won in Civitanova Marche, last summer.
How did you get to Tuscania?
“I must say that the contacts were very interesting right from the start, both on the part of the coach and the club who immediately believed in me to set up an important project. one more weapon throughout the season. Then, I am a very good friend of Pierlorenzo Buzzelli and through him I got to know the environment and society better. In short, I can’t wait to face this new adventure together”.
What do you hear the fans say?
“That I am very excited and that I will give 100 percent every day, especially in the gym. I can’t wait to feel all the passion and warmth of the Bolgia on my skin, I’m sure we will see our fans more and more numerous in Montefiascone”.
