The place-4 Alessio Tallone, 23 years old next September 23, will defend the colors of Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia in the national Serie A2 tournament 2022/2023 edition.
Another new arrival at Callipo: it is the spiker from Marche, born in 1999, Alessio Tallone, coming from Cuneo where he played in the first A2 championship.
The words of welcome come from the sporting director Ninni De Nicolo: «Tallone is a young athlete but who already boasts a very good experience between A3 and A2. In the last season in Cuneo he showed very interesting skills and I am convinced that he has further room for growth in all the fundamentals. He is a physically strong player, skilled both on the block and in attack, incisive in serving ».
For his part, the lateral from Pesaro immediately shows that he has very clear and concrete ideas: “Already from the first interviews with the Calabrian top management, I felt the enthusiasm that exists within the company. This gives me great stimuli. In the wake of the change, the new Giallorossi faces a new fascinating adventure with positivity: «I have never played in a Southern team having been only in Fano and Cuneo. An experience from Cuneo that will be useful for the cause of the Giallorossi team: “I had chosen Cuneo because for various reasons, mainly related to the study, I wanted to stay at home. It was an intense year full of personal satisfaction, I played games that counted as the Italian Cup final and also the Promotion Play Off Final. I have certainly enriched my luggage. Leaving Fano where I had grown up and was a captain, I had started from scratch, questioning myself, making myself known for which it was a challenge that I won ».
