After the two exciting Superleague Semifinals, the big volleyball showdown of Del Monte Italian Cup at Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno in Bologna suburbs ended with the great Italian Cup Serie A3 big final between Tinet Prata di Pordenone and Videx Grottazzolina.
It was a thrilling and exciting game, won by Tinet at the tie break, after Videx comeback fell short at tie break. Down by 0-2 sets, Grottazzolina stepped up and reacted, by tying the game and forcing Prata at tie break with an outstanding Nielsen, who put on the ground 31 points. By the heart, the talent and the eyes of the tiger of Dante Boninfante’s team stepped up once again in tie break, drove by an amazing Matteo Bortolazzo, MVP of the Game, with a 15-9 final win in tie break for Tinet.
