The new A3 volleyball season of Avimecc Volley Modica began yesterday with a welcome drink in a well-known club on the Sciclitan coast.
Old and new athletes, a few days ago arrived full of enthusiasm in the city of the County, met the technical and managerial staff for a first approach made of cordiality in a relaxing atmosphere.
From today, however, the team will start working with training sessions that will take place between the “PalaMoak” and the “Geodetic” structure in via Fabrizio in the Sorda district.
Coach Giancarlo D’Amico and his staff, for the first week will make the team work with specific aerobic and technical workouts and with work in the gym that will be useful to dispose of the “summer toxins”.
Furthermore, the technical staff will make each athlete on the roster carry out some individual training sessions that will be used to arrive in the best possible conditions at the beginning of the championship scheduled for October 9 with the derby with Catania.
The team will work until Saturday morning, then D’Amico will grant a day off on Sunday with training that will resume with the double session on Monday.
