A delegation from New Mater Volley Castellana Grotte was also present at Zanhotel Centergross in Bologna for the 2022 edition of Volley Mercato. The definition of the latest transfer market operations and membership, meetings with professionals and the protagonists of the world of volleyball and the presentation of the championships and calendars in the intense three days organized and promoted by Lega Pallavolo Serie A in view of the 2022 sports season / 2023 of the Italian men’s volleyball. The president Nino Carpinelli and the sporting director Bruno De Mori participated for the Gialloblù club.
Grottazzolina will be the first stage of the journey of the New Mater in the national championship series A2 Credem Banca. It begins next October 9th, therefore, with the transfer to the field of the newly promoted Marche. The internal debut, on the other hand, is scheduled for October 16: Ravenna will arrive in Castellana. First (and only) midweek shift already on October 19th with the trip to Lagonegro. With Brescia and Bergamo, on the fourth and fifth day, on 23 and 30 October, double consecutive home challenge at Pala Grotte. It will be played twice in a row at home, also between the round-trip rounds: 18 and 26 December with Santa Croce and Grottazzolina.
