“I expect an A3 series that is always very complicated because the level continues to increase and so also the other teams, which could be considered as medium-small, have improved considerably and there are no affordable teams: every Sunday it will be a fight and for our part I think we will be one of those annoying teams for everyone to face – explains Stefano Schettino, setter and captain of Sabaudia – Our first goal is to keep the category, this is primary, then everything that will come more will be a reward for us and for the club: last season’s season finale showed how much determination and efforts ultimately paid off after a start to the season in which things didn’t go exactly as we expected ». Schettino, after a spell in the youth sector of Top Volley with which he played the Serie C championship, has returned from six seasons in Sabaudia, and is preparing to experience his fourth championship in Serie A3.
