Delta Group Porto Viro 2022/2023 edition is upcoming. The Polesan troop, next protagonist of the Serie A2 Credem Banca men’s volleyball championship, gathered today at the Palasport in via XXV Aprile for the first two training sessions of the season, coordinated by the second coach Marcello Mattioli and by the athletic trainer Matteo Carlesso.
The day was opened by a technical meeting that saw the retirement of the National U20 coach Matteo Battocchio connect via videoconference, while in the afternoon the team received the official “baptism” of President Luigi Veronese.
Almost complete the group with eleven athletes out of thirteen already available: the newly arrived Erati, Garnica, Pierotti, Russo, Sette and the confirmed Barone, Bellei, Lamprecht, Sperandio, Vedovotto, Zorzi. Absent (justified) the baby Iervolino – also involved with the U20 national team – and the opposite Krzysiek, who is doing a personalized job in Poland and will join his teammates at the beginning of September.
Tomorrow the appointment is at Clodia Piscina & Fitness in Chioggia for the usual physical tests at the beginning of the season. The operations are led by the Delta Group physical-medical staff, which includes, in addition to the aforementioned Carlesso, Alberto Marzolla (social doctor), Enrico Boscolo Nata (osteopath), Dario Ravagnan (physiotherapist), Simone Zampieri (massage therapist), all already present in the staff last year.
