On Friday 2 September, in Palazzo Taffini in Savigliano, the official presentation of Monge-Gerbaudo Savigliano took place, the first team of Volley Savigliano, which will take part in the Serie A3 Credem Banca 2022/23 championship, accompanied by the announcement of many innovations in view of the new vintage.
After the initial greetings, introduced by Doriano Mandrile, speaker of the event, the floor was passed to the biancoblu president Guido Rosso, who reiterated the objectives and ambitions of the association in the coming season: “Thanks to the contribution of all, there is it was the will to keep the A3 Series, to try to get salvation on the field. We have built an ambitious group, with a coach who knows the league well, and we believe we can do well. A dream in the drawer? Immediately after, accompanied by the applause of the large audience present, all the players and the technical staff of the Monge-Gerbaudo Savigliano 2022/23 were presented, with captain Francesco Dutto and his deputy Daniele Gallo to speak out for the motivations and ambitions of the group in the new season.
Then, one of the highlights of the evening: the presentation of the official 2022/23 game jersey, on which stands the new company logo, designed to celebrate the year that will lead to the club’s 50 years of history. To reveal it, the representatives of Volley Sport Torino Roberto Parato and Roberto Griseri and Federico Veneroni, marketing manager of RV Distribution Luanvi, technical sponsor of Volley Savigliano.
The municipal administrations involved in the Volley Savigliano project could not miss the presentation. Antonello Portera, mayor and landlord, underlined how “it is nice to be here to celebrate a reality that bears our name around Italy. The return of the A3 Series to Savigliano? It would be great for everyone. Today we cannot promise anything concrete, if not our great commitment to try if the conditions are created ”.
Excited, in turn, the mayor of Cavallermaggiore Davide Sannazzaro: “Being able to host the home matches of Monge-Gerbaudo Savigliano this year is a source of pride for us and a very important showcase for the entire city.
