The cuban landed directly from the Ljubljana World Cup. It is Miguel David Gutierrez Suarez, the new opposite of Tinet Prata. The Cuban is back from the round of 16, in which the Caribbean surrendered 3-1 to the national team of Fefè De Giorgi. The class of 1997 became familiar with PalaPrata, chatted with the technical and managerial staff and faced the medical examinations and assessments conducted by Prof. Durigon and Carra and by the physiotherapist Luca Vivan.
“We are happy with the arrival of Miguel – says DG Dario Sanna with a smile, welcoming the Cuban player at the headquarters in Via Volta – we are sure we have hired a player of international level who will make a significant contribution to our team. Gutierrez is also a young player who has room for growth and I am sure he will quickly settle into our group from the very first training sessions “.
“I know that this team – are the first words of Gutierrez in the yellow and blue – has proved to be very valid and made up of excellent players. I have the feeling that very soon I will feel at home here ”
