The excellent work done in the past sporting season, enhanced by the conquest of the double provincial title with the under 15 and under 19 teams, left no room for doubt at the Rossoazzurra team to ensure the reconfirmation of Mister Marco Corina.
The sharing of objectives and intentions, together with the desire to follow up on the growth path that was well started in the past months, represented the reasons behind an agreement concluded in a few hours between the Technical Manager of the youth sector, Barbara Carlino, and the Director General, Andrea Anastasia, on one side, and Coach Marco Corina on the other.
The coach will be entrusted with the leadership of the under 17 and under 19 training, and the same will be at the head of the group that will participate in the regional Serie D championship.
So Coach Marco Corina at the outcome of the agreement: “This reconfirmation is a source of great satisfaction for me because Casarano Volley is a reality made up of people with great human values and proven sports skills with whom I fully share the policy of focusing on young people and allow them to express themselves in a peaceful and healthy environment.
We start again with great passion and enthusiasm, working towards the technical growth of the boys aimed at consolidating what we did in the past season which, in addition to the victory of 2 titles, saw Casarano Volley being the only team in the province to take part in all the youth championships (under 13,15,17,19 and 3rd youth div., as well as a regional Serie D championship). The goal for the upcoming season is to confirm participation in all the youth championships and, as fully shared with the head of the technical area of the youth sector, Barbara Carlino and with the D.G. Andrea Anastasia, we will present, at the starting line of the regional Serie D championship, a team made up of the best elements of the nursery, most of whom are not yet seventeen and give them space to grow and emerge in the world of volleyball as happened in the past season. “
