Fresh from the four training sessions of the preseason, Cucine Lube Civitanova today reached Piedmont in view of the “Volley Sotto il Mucrone” event, quadrangular scheduled for the weekend at the Biella Forum in Biella with Vero Volley Monza, Itas Trentino and Modena Volley.
Dressed in the new Joma uniforms, the Italian champions will debut at the tournament at 5pm tomorrow, Saturday 24 September, against Massimo Eccheli’s Vero Volley Monza in the first Semifinal. Following this, Trentino and Modena will compete. The losers will play on Sunday at 3pm for 3rd place. At the end of the Final, the Grand Final will be played between the two winners of the Semifinals.
Lube without Alex Nikolov, in the running for the Final at the U20 European Championships with his Bulgaria (tomorrow at 17.30 the Semifinal against Italy of Lubini Ionut Ambrose and Gaetano Penna). Middle blocker Isac Viana Santos is grappling with the process of medical examinations and clinical investigations in the Marche region.
