Lorenzo Codarin chooses the Cuneo Club for the third consecutive year. An escalation continues the feeling between Cuneo and the middle blocker Friulian; the first season ended on the threshold of the playoffs and the feeling that something was missing, the second accompanied by goals and emotions that create addiction.
Preparation will begin on 3 August and Codarin awaits it with trepidation: “Most of the goals I set myself at the beginning of last season have been achieved, it has been an important year for everyone. After such a season I fell even more in love with the volleyball in Cuneo, with the club, with the city and its fans and with the whole movement. The desire to stay was great and I thank the club for having placed their trust in me. I am very excited, I met the coach and he seems great to me. I immediately understood the changes he wants to make to the team and I must say that in my opinion he is the right man for this season. To achieve good results it will be important to follow all of the coaches and fight for the same goals. There will be a lot of effort, the possibility of having two foreigners per team will undoubtedly increase the level of the A2 championship, but the team is made up of players and people who do not give up and I am happy to start this season with them. ”
Enthusiastic to be able to work together, here are the words of coach Giaccardi on the biancoblù central: «Codarin is a very experienced central who has already proved to be one of the best in the category. I am very happy that he agreed to stay with us because he is a very important piece for the group and for the evolution of the game that we will give to the team this year; the power plants are very important and Codarin will be a staple of our game. I am sure he will continue to maintain his level, which is one of the highest in the category, and therefore I am very happy that he is part of the team ».
