The roster of Leo Shoes Casarano is enriched with a new face, which for the 2022-2023 sports season can count on the precious contribution of Bruno Floris, signed yesterday by the club of President Dongiovanni.
Originally from Sardinia, born in 2001, 200 cm tall, he comes to Casarano from one of the most important youth sectors in Italy, namely that of Materdomini Castellana Grotte with which he won the national under 16 title in 2017; Floris in his curriculum also boasts the participation in three championships in Serie A2 (two with the Castellana shirt and one with the Cantù shirt) as well as having defended the colors of Foligno in the 2020-2021 season (Serie B).
Equipped with great physicality and elevation, the Sardinian striker is able to be useful both as an opponent and as a hitter, making flexibility one of his qualities.
These are the first words of the new red-blue athlete after completing his engagement: “I am enthusiastic about this new sporting experience in Casarano, in the land that I consider my second home (Puglia). A3 is an extremely competitive championship and Casarano has proven to be a solid and serious reality in recent years, with excellent growth potential. In fact, I believe that it is precisely the same potential that is then reflected in our squad, a squad made up mostly of young players and this will certainly help to create a close-knit and aggressive group. I thank the club and the coach who have given me their trust and I want to repay both by making myself available to the team and working hard in the gym to achieve the goals set.
