The Belgian Francois Lechat has joined the squad since last Monday and is certainly the most anticipated member of this team. He smiles, greets his new teammates and the staff: as soon as he is on the pitch, his presence and charisma are immediately felt.
After the first few days he has clear ideas, but he already knows that it will be a difficult championship.
“I have good feelings, I’m happy to have met my new teammates – explains Lechat-. I have a lot of expectations for the season, but I work day by day. I think this season will be very difficult because many teams have strengthened, now there are also two foreigners in the team. I expect a very balanced championship ”, emphasizes the Belgian.
Lechat, who wore the Belgian national team shirt, arrived in Lagonegro after two seasons abroad. The last time in Italy he played for Peimar Calci in 2019. Then two years ago in Belgium, again in the top flight with Alast. Last year he started first in Qatar and then moved back to Belgium with the Roeselare shirt, where he ended the season.
Lecat made his debut with the Belgian national team in 2011 in the Under 19, winning an Under 20 European Championship and up to playing in the senior team starting from 2013. Now he is ready to amaze all the fans of the Cave del Sole who do not see them to see him in action.
Meanwhile the training of the Cave del Sole Lagonegro continues, the double sessions alternated with the sections in the pool twice a week. The team is focused on joint mobility prevention work and specific pool work, as well as intense strength work. As the weeks go by, the maximum strength you acquire will be transformed into explosiveness and power, consequently increasing your workouts on speed.
On Saturday 27 August, the team underwent the usual medical examinations at the Geomedical center in Lauria.
