A look between present and future: Powervolley Milano is pleased to officially announce the renewal of the contract for another two sports seasons of the opposite French class 1996 Jean Patry. President Lucio Fusaro and the player have signed the contracts that will bind Patry to Milan until 2024.
Arriving in the 2020-2021 season, the French athlete surprised the entire volleyball world by establishing himself as one of the best opposites on the national and international scene. The history of Patry, therefore, merges even more with the present and the future of Milan: the project that wants the company of the president Lucio Fusaro to win a place in the next years among the top teams of the Superlega, places trust in the transalpine athlete and great importance. A player with extraordinary technical skills, who has always given proof of his value; the latest demonstration came with the final of the Volleyball Nations League: Les Bleus reconfirmed their supremacy by winning first place in the tournament, after winning the Olympic gold medal just a year ago. Jean’s contribution was not far behind; in fact his performance crowned him as the best opponent of the competition. An extension that includes a precise design and that reveals the determination of the Milanese society to continue towards the summit.
There is therefore Patry in the future of Milan and there is Milan in the future of Patry, commenting on the importance of this renewal, which had already concluded in February and which for the moment closes the Allianz Powervolley signing campaign. The words of the Milan coach, coach Roberto Piazza: «Thinking of being able to continue the program started two years ago with Jean fills me with joy.
