The night in Katowice was a collection of emotions for the whole Serie A, which rejoiced at the umpteenth and greatest satisfaction of a sensational Azzurri’s summer for men’s volleyball, with the three youth gold medals (European Under 18, European Under 22 and Under 20 EYOF) who anticipated the sensational victory of the National team yesterday, which climbed to the top of the world against all odds.
The president of the Serie A Volleyball League, Massimo Righi, followed the Azzurri both in Slovenia and in the last decisive matches in Poland and embraced the triumphs of the night in Katowice representing all 54 clubs of Serie A Credem Banca.

I don’t have to be the one to emphasize how exciting their undertaking was, it is under the eyes of all Italians. It is a huge pleasure to see these athletes, who have grown up in our youth sectors and in the teams of our magnificent leagues, face every difficulty with the technique and mentality of expert players. I know that each of the coaches and managers who crossed their path feels a piece of this medal as his own and it is right that it should be so, because ours has always been a team spirit: with the Club or the blue jersey, all of us we work in the same direction, so that this incredible sport can grow by correcting a lift, a run-up, teaching to smile after a mistake knowing that the next ball will be decisive ”.
“I was close to the federal leaders last night – continues the president of the Lega – and it was an immense pleasure to be able to experience the award ceremony close to them. The applause of the Volleyball League and its clubs goes to the president Giuseppe Manfredi, the Fipav Council and all their staff: it was not easy to climb such a high mountain.
