Last day of the first round, it seems to relive past emotions: the last time that BAM Acqua San Bernardo Cuneo crossed the gates of Reggio Emilia was to grant the Giallorossi club its first and historic promotion to the SuperLega. Certainly both formations have varied considerably, but the memories and emotions are strong for all.
In fifth position Cuneo wants to redeem itself from last season, against Volley Tricolore it lost two important finals: that of 11 February 2022, or the Del Monte Coppa Italia and that of 26 May 2022, or game 4 promotion play off.
The two technicians have been revolutionized, in fact Cuneo can count on the experience of coach Giaccardi, assisted by Gallesio; speaking of reconfirmations, however, remain Cardona (opposed), Codarin (central), Pedron (setter), Lilli (free), captain Botto (smasher), Bisotto (free) and Sighinolfi (central). To the crusher department are added Parodi from Siena, the Swiss foreigner Kopfli and from Fano in A3 Chiapello. In the control room, immediately after Pedron, Cuneo chooses Esposito who comes from Serie B of Gioia del Colle; on the diagonal there is the former Reggio Emilia Santangelo, while in the center the BAM is strengthened with Lanciani from the newly promoted to A2 Grottazzolina.
