One day before the start of athletic training, Bologna completes the squad of the 2022-23 season with Lorenzo Gabrielli.
The libero class 2001 starts playing volleyball at just 5 years of age, grows up in the youth sector of Lube before moving to the C series of Macerata volleyball.
In the 2020-21 season the athlete makes his A3 debut with Sa.Ma Portomaggiore, a company with which he stays for two seasons.
Now, he is ready to wear the red-blue colors together with some teammates from last season including fellow mate Davide Brunetti.
Lorenzo Gabrielli: “Having played with some guys led by Marzola was certainly an important factor in my choice this year: I know their qualities and their ambitions. I know how to work, there is a stimulating environment but without pressure, perfect for expressing yourself at your best. With Davide then we met and compared a lot last year, he is a quiet guy with a great technique. He has faced higher categories and every day in the gym continues to serve me to learn from him too.
