Cucine Lube Civitanova is full of young people from the Academy to help prepare the Italian champions. As announced in the first days of the meeting by the coach Chicco Blengini, in the second week of work five athletes from the youth league joined the red and white group who this year will face the Serie B tournament with the U19 of Lube, who won last season in the championship of C: it is the opposite Giuseppe Bonanni Paragallo (class 2004), of the middle blockers Francesco Giacomini (2005) and Michele Menchi (2004), of the setter Filippo Melonari (2005) and of the hitter Massimiliano Tonti (2004). On the other hand, there are two other emerging lubines that have joined the seniores group several times in the past, namely the power plant Ionut Ambrose (2004) and Gaetano Penna (2004). The two young talents are about to finish Matteo Battocchio’s junior team in the Colli del Tronto area, in the province of Ascoli Piceno.
In addition to taking part in all the technical sessions in the gym, the young people of the Academy Volley Lube will also lend a hand to the first team in the first seasonal joint training sessions, starting with the test scheduled for Saturday 3 September at the Eurosuole Forum (starting the warm-up at 4.15 pm) between Lube Volley and Med Store Tunit Macerata, a team that plays in the White Round of the Serie A3 Credem Banca tournament.
