Fabrizio Gironi is the second Italian spiker available to coach Lorenzo Bernardi. Born in 2000, two meters high, in the last two seasons he has played in Taranto: the first in A2, hitting the promotion in SuperLega and the second in the top Italian championship, closing the season in tenth place.
The debut in the SuperLega for the young spiker now engaged in the VNL with the Azzurri national team took place in the 2018-2019 season in Milan where he remained for two years and where he arrived after leaving the youth sector in Segrate.
In his latest adventure with the Taranto jersey Fabrizio Gironi took the field on twenty-six occasions, played 60 sets scoring 126 points and 11 aces. His best attacking performance came against Verona in the 3-0 win thanks to 14 points, while in the 3-1 against Cisterna he finished with 12 points in less than three sets in which he was on the pitch.
