The training of Emma Villas Aubay Siena continues, which is working daily at PalaEstra to fine-tune the physical condition and chemistry of the team in view of the start of the championship. The Superlega tournament will start on October 2nd, Siena will immediately be involved in an away match in Trento.
The first test match of the pre-season will instead be a month earlier, therefore on 2 September, at PalaEstra against Santa Croce. A Tuscan derby played many times in recent seasons. It was the last official match of last season, it will also be the first friendly match of this pre-season.

For the 30-year-old Swan Ngapeth it will be the sixth season in Superlega: he has lived three in Modena, one in Latina and one in Vibo Valentia. He therefore knows the Italian top league very well: “But in this group there are several guys who have a lot of experience in the Super League. The gift of experience will certainly be very useful in the next championship. We are fortunate to be a fairly close group already. In fact, many of us have played together in the past or have challenged each other many times over the past few years. And this can only be good for the team. My first sensations here in Siena are good and reflect what I expected. I had talked to other players who had played here in the past and I was expecting everything I see. I feel very good, the building is beautiful, the team runs well, the club is very structured. For the moment everything is perfect ”.
