Emma Villas Aubay Siena has started seasonal training in the Olympic training center of Tirrenia, in the province of Pisa. The team found itself and got to work under the orders of coach Paolo Montagnani. The roster is not complete at the moment, given that there are no players who are busy with their national teams: Petric, Van Garderen, Pinali.
“We carried out our first training session – are the words of the sporting director of Emma Villas Aubay Siena, Gabriele Cottarelli. – We officially met and we begin with the work we are called to do. The boys have begun to work physically, they are getting to know each other and may already have their first contact with the ball after a few months of stopping the matches ”.
Cottarelli continues: “We will stay in Tirrenia until August 17th, then we will return to PalaEstra to continue the preparation. On September 2nd we will play our first friendly match, we are preparing the whole program also in relation to the preseason matches. From this point of view, weeks will immediately be crackling ”.
