Class 94, Matheus is a 194 cm tall spiker born in Toledo, in the state of Paranà in Brazil but who, thanks to his great-grandparents of Venetian origin, also boasts Italian citizenship.
He takes his first steps in the world of volleyball right in his Toledo, then coming to wear the shirt of San Paolo (São Paulo), up to the Under 21. Before flying to Italy, Matheus gets his first satisfactions in his city, playing for the Brazilian clubs of the Associação de Voleibol de Toledo, Palotina Esportes and Toledo Prati Donaduzzi.
The first experience in the Italian boot comes in 2016 with the Cinquefrondi Volleyball which plays in the Serie B championship. Here he will remain for two seasons. In the following championship, Matheus makes a small leap to Romania, where with the team of the Volei Municipal Zalau he is Romanian vice-champion.
The attraction of Italy is too strong and for the 2019/2020 season Dall’Agnol Dal Bosco is back in the Bel Paese, but this time in the ranks of Aurispa Alessano in Serie A3. Thanks to BCC Castellana Grotte, our new hitter savors the A2 and then returns to A3 with the ambitious line-up of the Wow Green House Aversa.
When the call comes from Ortona, who wants him for his relaunch project, Matheus has no doubts: «I am very happy to continue my experience in Italy after last season in Aversa.
