Fresh winner of the Junior League with the Gamma Chimica Brugherio, he took his first steps in the world of volleyball in the same club that launched the former captain of the Italian national team Cristian Savani.
“The arrival of Compagnoni adds centimeters, quality and enthusiasm to this team – comments Coach Francesco Denora -. He comes from an important youth path and already full of successes, he will certainly make his qualities available to the team, and we will be ready to make him grow even more. Finally, this is my first season in Serie A2, after the last pass in Serie A3 with the Brugherio Chemical Range. Being coached by Coach Denora was one more reason to accept. It will be a very interesting championship: the ‘usual’ A2 teams like Bergamo and Cuneo will certainly aim to win, but Ravenna and Vibo Valentia have made up squadrons to return immediately to the SuperLega. Personally, I would like to improve as much as possible to be able to give my contribution to my teammates and the team ”.
