Conad Reggio Emilia’s roster has been completed with Alberto Elia who will play in the middle for the Giallorossi team: “The goal is to be part of a team that has fun and entertains our audience. Last season Elia was part of the Sieco Service Ortona squad, recently in A3. Elia, born in 1985, 205 cm tall, carefully observed the Reggio’s transfer campaign: “Each of the players who will be part of the squad has great motivations and a lot to prove. The strong point will be the enthusiasm: we will have to put it in every single training and in every race.
For my part, I chose to sign with the Volley Tricolore club because it has now established itself as a beautiful reality in the national volleyball scene. Great power plants, such as Luppi, Inserra and Benaglia, wore the Reggio shirt and I hope to continue in the wake of their businesses. The new middle blocker certainly has great dexterity within the top Italian series; he grew up in the Treviso youth teams and has always alternated Superlega and Serie A2, the last four seasons he spent in A2 in Ortona, preceded by one in A3 in Galatina and two in A1 in Cisterna and Ravenna. “I think my experience will help but everyone’s contribution will be important to grow together. I really enjoy learning and try to steal all the secrets, even from the youngest players. So I expect a continuous exchange of knowledge ”.
