The test match of the Gioiella Prisma Taranto in Corigliano ends in favor of the Greek team Olympiacos for 3-1 (21-25, 25-22, 21-25, 20-25). Captain Aimone Alletti: “It was perhaps the first test that was a little more convincing against a team of a certainly superior level, with players of world experience. Some of their athletes had just arrived from the world championship, it was a positive match that gave good indications even though it was probably the first time we tried this type of training, which certainly gave ideas to work on, things we need to improve, but in general I think it was a good match. This is demonstrated by all the sets played evenly and ended perhaps with a break in the serve rather than with a few more points of experience on their part than us. We have always been point-to-point, fighting throughout the game and I think this was the important thing: it was what we needed to get some rhythm in our legs and to have excellent ideas for growth which we will work on during the week. ”
