This morning at the Banca Macerata Forum the preparation of the red and white team began, which was divided between the gym and taraflex for the first physical tests followed by the technical staff. The Med Store Tunit coach Flavio Gulinelli coordinated the preparation, who also represents one of the team’s various innovations for the 2022/2023 season.
Coach Gulinelli has a reinforced roster, starting from a group of players who know the Macerata environment well, such as Gabbanelli, veteran of Macerata volleyball as well as new captain of Med Store Tunit, Margutti and Sanfilippo, who have carved out a role from protagonists in recent seasons, plus the young Paolucci and Ravellino; to them have been added important grafts, players of experience and quality such as Morelli, Zappoli, Kindgard and Wawrzynczyk, plus the red and white returns of Gonzi and Pizzichini and the arrival of new young people with great prospects, De Col and Bacco, who will be able to grow alongside the most experienced companions.
After morning training, the team will be engaged in new tests in the afternoon to be tackled in the swimming pool at Moretti Village in Civitanova Marche, a scenario that during these first weeks will alternate with work at the Banca Macerata Forum. An intense commitment for the red and white athletes that will serve to prepare them for the friendly matches that will anticipate the official start of the championship, set for 9 October when the red and white will face ErmGroup San Giustino away.
The team works on the body, the technique and the group, with the guys starting to get to know each other. There is a lot of enthusiasm around the Med Store Tunit and Volleyball Macerata can’t wait to present to the city a team that wants to give new emotions to the fans.
