The player chosen to complete the “defensive department” of the 2022/203 Sieco Impavida Ortona is Gianmarco Vindice.
Born in 2002, for 180 centimeters in height, role: libero. Gianmarco was born in Gaeta but lives in Formia, where his journey into the world of volleyball begins. In 2016 he moved to Foligno and here he will continue his journey in the local youth sectors, finding space also in the first team. It should be noted that with Foligno in Serie B and subsequently with Spoleto (in Serie C), Vindice will play the role of the Spiker.
The change of role comes in the 2019/2020 season when, with the Sir Safety Perugia Serie B shirt, he will be moved to the role of Libero, so as to make the most of his great defensive skills. He will stay in Perugia for two consecutive seasons before moving to La Spezia, again in Serie B.
Then comes the call to Serie A3 from Sieco Service Impavida Ortona who wanted the Libero from Lazio on its roster.
