Del Monte® Supercoppa Serie A2, brand new and last event of 2020/2021 Credem Banca Serie A2 season, will take place next friday 28th may in Taranto at PalaMazzola, a game live on RAI Sport, between Serie A2 winners Prisma Taranto and Agnelli Tipiesse Bergamo (winner of Del Monte® Coppa Italia 2021).
The press conference saw the salute of Taranto mayor Rinaldo Melucci live from Sala degli Specchi del Palazzo di Città in Taranto, together at Vice mayor Fabiano Marti, President Fipav Puglia Paolo Indiveri, together with President Lega Pallavolo Serie A Massimo Righi, who said: “we’ll try to set up a big event to end the most difficoult and hard season in volleyball history, where everybody made big sacrifices but of big confirms from the people who did not stop to believe in volleyball. we are pretty sad because on today we had the notice that the game will be without audience. Too bad for us, we wanted to finish the season with fans on the stands, to leave a sign on this season”.
Will be anyway a great volleyball showdown, between two teams who put on court some great volley, Agnelli Tipiesse Bergamo dominating the central part of the season, including the win in Del monte Italian Cup, and Prisma Taranto finding the right rhythm in the crunch time of the season, giving the best in the playoffs.
