Extraordinary and special man Pietro Peia passed away on today, leaving a big void in volleyball world. Former executive, president and owner of Modena Volley, Pietro has been a living reference for a bunch of volleyball generations, keeping high the name ov the volley in Modena in tough years, before the President Catia Pedrini era.
The President remembered Peia with great emotion: “Pietro Peia has been a real friend and a real supporter of volleyball in Modena. I want to thank him for his kindness, his wiseness and his love for the city and for the sport, he’ve always been by our side especially in tough moments. A big part of Modena Volley’s trophies and win, were because of him, without him our history would see lack of wins. A big hugh to all his family and his daugther Elisa, who’s our contributor”.
