4.0 Committee said, after the brand new government issue: “we are disappointed, our purposes have been cut by brand new Decree”.
This was the statement of 4.0 Committee, a committee who rallys Francesco Ghirelli, president Lega Pro, Umberto Gandini, president Lega Basket Seria A, Pietro Basciano, president Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro, Massimo Righi, president Lega Pallavolo Serie A, Mauro Fabris, president Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile, Massimo Protani, president Lega Basket Femminile.
“Sport isn’t only tournaments, championships and cups to lift, preparing athletes to big events such Olympics. Sport is a very important sector of italian economy, with sponsors and advisors who support the clubs, providing jobs and contributing to welfare and economic life, so the government will need to understand that sport needs to be considered as all the other sectors of economy”. This was the 4.0 Committee statement, looking forward some change of route.
“Football, volleyball and basketball never stopped during the pandemic emergency, made up a big show for millions of people, providing emotions and fun to the people at home, without any kind of cash return, because of the arenas and stadiums closed, we really believe in our social importance and responsability. We are asking to President Draghi our needs will be satisfied, talking about money help, and safety and medical help, together with fiscal facilities for the advisors. We know misister Vezzali is working hard on thios, but we as Committee all need some results as soon as possible”.
