Looking back to memories, Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia first Serie A1 season was in 2003/2004, coming from an outstanding Serie A2 season, clinching the Serie A1 spot.
It was a great team, with Sottile, Rosalba, Priddy and many others, with Daniele Ricci on the bench.
With not so much credit starting the season, Tonno Callipo showed a big power, finishing in eighth place in the final standings, the top placing for a newcomer, clinching also the final eight Italian Cup spot, finishing in second place behind Sisley Treviso.
