Nothing to do for Cucine Lube Civitanova in the Champions League Big Final versus Zenit Kazan in front of their own fans, Kazan won for the forth time in a row the most important european trophy, but Giampaolo Medei’s team was great, forcing Kazan to the tie break, and being in front 2-1 in the count of the set. It was a great game for bulgarian opposite Tsvetan Sokolov, 29 points for him, and also great game for captain Dragan Stankovic, 18 points for the serbian middle blocker. Not enough versus the great game of Leon, 33 points, and Mikhailov, 24.
