Lega Pallavolo Serie A together with Sportradar AG., put on court a project against match fixing. Italian Volleyball League is leader in Italy and in Europe to support the fight to illegal betting and match fixing, in this very important partnership with SportRadar, as the past season, still together in this fight. SportRadar is from many years together with Leagues and Federations in prevention, education and fight against this such a bad attitude, experiencing the “Fraud Detection System”.
Lega Pallavolo Serie A CEO Massimo Righi said: “The path we are hitting together with SportRadar is for sure the only answer to contain and reduce the match fixing. Education and sport culture are the answers. High level of betting is for us a proud, and a signal of good job done by our clubs. We periodically sat together with players, coaches, executives and all the protagonists of our sport creating a synergy between all of us, trying to go after protagonisms, supporting the sport integrity”.

Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia – Calzedonia Verona. 30 games between these two teams, 16 wins for Tonno Callipo and 14 wins for Calzedonia. In first game of the season in First Half at PalaEvangelisti in Perugia Radostin Stoytchev’s team won clearly 3-0 on Perugia’s turf. Modena is coming from a road win in Ravenna over Bunge, despite the injury to Daniele Mazzone.
Wixo LPR Piacenza – Cucine Lube Civitanova. Interesting challenge in Piacenza at PalaBanca with the defending champs Cucine Lube Civitanova who will show up versus Alberto Giuliani’s team. 18 wins for Piacenza and 27 for Lube in the previous matches, the home team is in sixth place with 40 points, the visiting team in second place in Unipolsai Superleague standings behind leaders Sir Safety Conad Perugia.
Bunge Ravenna – Gi Group Monza. 11 games between these two teams, 6 wins for Monza 5 for Ravenna. In First Half game Gi Group won on the home turf at Candy Arena for 3-1. Now Miguel Angel Falasca’s team is in tenth place in Unipolsai Superleague standings with 26 points, Ravenna is in eighth place, in the playoff bracket at this moment, with 38 points.
Taiwan Excellence Latina – Kioene Padova. Nei precedenti 23 match tra le due squadre i pontini hanno esultato 13 volte, tre in più dei padovani, che però si sono imposti in 3 set tra le mura amiche nel match di andata. Mercoledì scorso, invece, il Club laziale ha perso in 4 set sul campo della Sir Safety rimanendo undicesimo a 22 punti, ma con ambizioni di rimonta su Monza che è a quota 26, mentre i patavini, reduci dallo stop casalingo in 3 set con la Lube, sono noni. Per centrare l’ottava piazza Padova deve fare 6 punti e sperare che Ravenna resti a quota 38.
Diatec Trentino – Biosì Indexa Sora. I gialloblù hanno vinto i tre incontri finora disputati con la formazione volsca in SuperLega. Nella sfida più recente gli uomini di Angelo Lorenzetti hanno confezionato un 3-1 a domicilio sul campo dei laziali. La Diatec, che mercoledì ha superato in 3 set Vibo Valentia, deve difendere il quarto posto dalle mire di Verona, quinta a 45 punti. Una ventata di euforia per i sorani, che nel posticipo del giovedì sera hanno battuto 3-1 la BCC (prima vittoria stagionale al PalaGlobo), con aggancio a 10 punti e sorpasso per quoziente set.
BCC Castellana Grotte – Revivre Milano. Nell’unico precedente, giocato all’andata, la squadra meneghina ha vinto 3-1 davanti ai propri tifosi al PalaYamamay. Ora la formazione pugliese ha bisogno di cancellare lo stop patito al PalaPolsinelli di Sora per 3-1 dopo l’illusorio squillo nel primo set. I padroni di casa si ritrovano in fondo alla classifica. Ad alleviare la rabbia per la caduta della Revivre in 4 set a Verona, con sosta forzata a 40 punti e due vittorie in meno rispetto alla dirimpettaia Piacenza, ci ha pensato il rinnovo anticipato del bomber Abdel-Aziz.
