In the official issue n. 21 of 19.01.2017 te Court rejected the appeal of Ceramica Globo, so the game n. 343 of 08.01.2017 Ceramica Globo Civita C.na – Conad Reggio Emilia will remain with the original result.
Lawyers of Ceramica Globo Francesco Zoli and Mirco Tonetti said that the team of Castellana would have all the reasons to continue in the lawsuit, but preferred to left, in order to keep the results spearated by the lawsuits, renouncing to a replay of the game.
Ceramica Globo Civita Castellana invite everybody to some reflections, looking out to the future cases.
In Superleague and Serie A2 all the teams are equipped with Video Check, so Vittorio Sacripanti, DS of Ceramica Globo, said:
“We didn’t had the chance to check a play with the Video Check, and the referees on the sheet did not wrote the real facts, as we can see in the images and videos available”.
The coach of Ceramica Globo asked accurately a video check for a play (in time and with the right moves), and the referees, according to the front office of the team of Castellana, fell in confusion, rejecting the video check call, blaming the coach on this missed call.
the Video Check system is brand new, and needs some adjustments, about rules and situations, especially in Art.17, which says that any appeal is allowed on the final result of the game.
Still Sacripanti said: “we disagree with the procedures, because we’ve been unabled to use the Video Check, without being put in the position to do nothing.
We need to go deep into the rules of Video Check, probably we will call an intervention by the Federal Council.
Let’s hope that the referees will continue the dialogue with the other protagonists of our sport
