After the sign of Bruno Bagnoli as Emma Villas Siena head coach, the team from Palio’s city signed slovakian opposite Martin Nemec. Born in Bratislava in 1984, nephew of slovakian middle blocker Richard Nemec, Martin came from a volleyball family. In 2014/2015 season Martin won the Superleague with energy TI Diatec Trentino, with a great performance in attack and in the serve. In 2015/2016 Nemec played in Corea with KB Insurance Stars, and in last season he played with turkish Besiktas Jimnastik Kulubu.
