After the well deserved loss versus Cucine Lube Civitanova, Sir Safety Conad Perugia got back to work, looking for the end of the tournament. With five games left in the Unipolsai Superleague Regular Season, and with still some big showdown to play, Perugia can still aim to first or at least the secondo place in the final standings.
On today coach Lorenzo Bernardi spoke about the loss versus Civitanova.
“In this part of the season Lube is playing great volleyball no questions. But in first set we hade some good chances, like the ball of 21-18, and two more chances to grab the tie in the end of the set. We have work and improve on this aspects of the game, we don’t have to collapse as we did in second set. We have to grow up, not with the words but with the facts. We don’t have to be warried, as we weren’t worried after the loss versus Piacenza, we only have to go back at work, we had another chances to understand how and where improve our game.
On yesterday we missed two fundamental part of our game, like the serve and the attack, with these fundamentals we create opportunities.
But above all we need to improve our mentality and our approach, we need to be consistant, we need to step up”.
