23 year old spiker/opposite Andrea Santangelo, one of the most important prospects of italian volleyball, will play once again with Sigma Aversa jersey in 2017/2018 Serie A2 season. Despite alot of offers from other clubs, the spiker/opposite from Isernia grabbed the chance to stay in Aversa, trying to do a big season, trying to drive Sigma to the playoffs, ad President Di Meo aims.
It was a great first part of last season for Santangelo, one of the best scorers of Serie A2 with 22.2 points per game, before an injury which kept him out of the court for alot of time. When he’ve been back on court he was a bit out of fit, with a 16.4 points average, but still remaining one of the best scorers of the League.
In next upcoming season Santangelo and Sigma Aversa will make some waves.
