Del Monte® Italian Cup 2017, Lorenzetti: “Not favourite, but…”

In the Trophys Room of Trentino Volley, coach Angelo Lorenzetti met the media, approaching the 2017 Del Monte® Italian Cup Final Four.
These are his words: “Modena won 5 of last 6 italian events (with him on the bench, nda), that’s why we need to show respect. They are very good in put the opponents in trouble with the serve, and in last years they became very confident under pressure. Will be tough, we are the underdog, the bookmakers said that we are the third favourite team out of four for the final win, I respect their job and opinion, but we still have to play, in this showdowns often there are some surprises. In the other semifinal Civitanova is favourite, but never say never with Piacenza. Filippo Lanza will be ready for the challenge, he did a good job in rehab with our doctors, and he will play for sure.
I think also Jan Stokr will play in the starting six, I saw him in good shape. On the other hand, Gabriele Nelli is not 100% after the injury, and needs to find condition and play mechanisms. In these days we’ve been lucky, working all together in the gym, reaching all the targets of our practice plans”.
