Taiwan Excellence Latina – Calzedonia Verona will be live on RAI Sport +HD, first live game of the season on national TV. Despite the loss in Italian Cup by the hands of Gi Group Monza and the ankle’s trouble of Sasha Starovic, Taiwan Excellence Latina is ready to debut in front of home fans at PalaBianchini renowned. On the other side Calzedonia Verona is coming from a convicning home win over forer coach Andrea Giani’s team Revivre Milano, now ready to continue the history of last 4 games in Latinafor the Scaligeri, 4 wins in a row in last 4 games.
Diatec Trentino – Revivre Milano will be a tough game for both teams. After fourth place in Del Monte Supercup last week, where Angelo Lorenzetti’s team seemed searching the right chemistry and the right mechanisms, Diatec Trentino will try to earn a win in front of the hme fans, versus a team with important ambitions. In fact Revivre Milano had a great game in 16th final in Frosinone versus Sora, but suffering a loss in Verona versus Calzedonia in 8th final, so some high and lows for Andrea Giani’s team.
Sir Safety Conad Perugia – Kioene Padova. Del Monte Supercup fresh champs Perugia will debut in front of the home enthusiastic fans at PalaEvangelisti. Will be a good chance to celebrate the win, Mvp Aaron Russell and all the players, after years of second placings and troubles. On the other side of the net there will be Kioene Padova, a confident team after the road win in Piacenza in Italian Cup eight final (gaining quarterfinals where they will face Sir Safety Conad Perugia),ateam who will do everything to ruin the party of Perugia.
Azimut Modena – BCC Castellana Grotte will be a game with a strong favourite, Modena, but Radostin Stoytchev team doesn’t have to underestimate the strength of Castellana Grotte. Modena earned the third place in Del Monte Supercup, showing some improvements, but still with some lacks in some parts of play. The winners of last season’s Unipolsai Serie A2 playoffs Bcc Castellana Grotte will need to step up after the losses in this start of the season.
Gi Group Monza – Biosì Indexa Sora both teams will need to start the season with the right step. Monza is coming from the recent win over Taiwan Excellence Latina in Del Monte Italian Cup eight final, clinching the quarterfinalsspot versus Diatec Trentino. On the other hand, Mario Barbiero’s team earned a disappointing loss on the home turf in Frosinone versus Revivre Milanoin 16th final of Italian Cup, and will need to step up after this not so good start of the season.
Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia – Cucine Lube Civitanova will be a good chance of resue for both the teams. Tonno Callipo lost in Italian Cup eight finals on the home turf versus Bunge Ravenna, and defending italian champs of Lube lost on the home turf at Eurosuole Forum the big final of Del Monte Supercup versus Sir Safety Conad Perugia. In 28 games between these two teams, Lube won 22 times, and Vibo 6.
Bunge Ravenna – Wixo LPR Piacenza will be the first regional derby of Superleague, between two legendary teams. Ravenna and Piacenza faced each other 14 times, with 7 wins apiece. Two good pre seasons for both teams, with Ravenna who changed alot in off season and won on road in Vibo in Italian Cup, and with Piacenza who collapsed in eight finals of Italian Cup on the home turf versus Kioene Padova.
