On today at sala consiliare Palazzo Sforza Cesarini in Civitanova Marche, took place the 2017 Del Monte Supercup press conference, the Lega Volley event which will take place next 7th and 8th October at Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova.
The top four teams of last Superleague season will face each other in semifinals and finals. Saturday the two semifinals will be Cucine Lube Civitanova-Azimut Modena at 16, and Diatec Trentino-Sir Safety Perugia at 19. The four best teams of last season will be soon on track looking forward next upcoming 2017/2018 Superleague Season.
In front of all the front offices of the teams involved and of Civitanova Mayor Ciarrapica, Lega Volley Ceo MAssimo Righi said: “This is the first event of a reat season. Will be 30 years of Lega Volley Serie A, and with these four top teams, we have the best we can have. This is a world wide event, with international TVs who will broadcast the event, together with the live show on Rai Sport. We also arriving from the foundation of Volleyball League Association, who will work for the right set of the international calendars”.

After the win at PalaGrotte, Adriano Di Pinto’s team looks forward to another win versus Lupi, after two losses versus Santa Croce in last season. On the other hand Michele Totire’s team won versus Videx Grottazzolina, will try to stay perfect in this 2017/2018 Uniposai Serie A2 early part of the season.
Videx Grottazzolina – Conad Reggio Emilia. Two teams who suffered a loss in first round of 2017/2018 despite Conad grabbed a point in the tie break loss versus Sigma Caserta on the home turf at PalaBigi. M&G Videx Grottazzolina suffered a loss versus Kemas Lamipel Santa Croce, and will try to come back from this first loss.

Aurispa Alessano – Messaggerie Bacco Catania, an unusual challenge in Serie A2. Aurispa took home two points from Roma versus Ceramica Scarabeo, on the other hand the team from Catania won an important game versus Fonte Acquaviv Massa, another rookie team in Unipolsai Serie A2.
At 19.30 will take place the Tuscany Derby between Acqua Fonteviva Massa – Emma Villas Siena. Captain Biglino with his rookie team will try to do a good game versus powerhouse Emma Villas, who will play with portuguese opposite Ferreira, waiting for the return of quationables Martin Nemec and Michele Fedrizzi.

Gioiella Micromilk Gioia del Colle – Mosca Bruno Bolzano, they never met each other in Unipolsai serei A2. Gioia del Colle won on the road at PalaParini in Cantù, 3-1 versus Pool Libertas. On the other hand Mosca Bruno Bolzano lost on the home turf at PalaResia in Bolzano by the hands of Maury’s Italiana Assicurazioni Tuscania.
Maury’s Italiana Assicurazioni Tuscania – Pag Taviano. After the clear win on the road in Bolzano versus rookie team Mosca Bruno, Tuscania will debut on the home turf versus rookie team PAG Taviano, who still have to play in this tournament because of the troubles at the arena due bad weather last sunday versus Vbc Mondovì.
Sieco Service Ortona – Pool Libertas Cantù, two teams who lost the first 2017/2018 Unipolsai Serie A2 game. The team from Abruzzo lost clearly in Spoleto versus Monini, on the other hand Pool Libertas Cantù lost on the home turf at PalaParini versus rookie team Gioiella Micromilk Gioia del Colle. So for both teams will be a chance to put some points on the standings.
Geosat Geovertical Lagonegro – Monini Spoleto. Lagonegro had the chance to win in Bergamo versus Caloni Agnelli, being in front 2 sets to 1 and losing at the tie break, grabbing anyway one precious point. On the other side Spoleto won on the home turf versus versus Sieco Service Ortona.
Club Italia Crai Roma – Caloni Agnelli Bergamo will face each other in Unipolsai Serie A2 for the first time ever. Monica Cresta’s team lost in the first game of the season, and is looking for the first points of the season versus Coach Preziosi’s team, one of the favourites of this 2017/2018 Serie A2 season. Bergamo won at the tie break in first game of the season versus Geosat Geovertical Lagonegro.
VBC Mondovì – Centrale del Latte McDonald’s Brescia. these two teams faced each other 4 times in Serie A2, 3 wins for Brescia and one for Mondovì. Vbc still have to debut in this 2017/2018 Unipolsai Serie A2 season, after the trip to Taviano without playing the game because of the bad weather and the rain onto the floor of the arena. On the other hand Brescia defeated Club Italia Crai.
