Since 2009, Diatec Trentino played, including this upcoming one, 6 european finals, 10 in international events, and the third in a row, after the Cev Cup final in 2015, lost atr golden set versus Dynamo Moscow, and Championbs League final, lost at tie break by Zenit Kazan. Trento won 4 times the World Championship for clubs, and 3 times Champions League. In Istanbul Angelo Lorenzetti’s team lost the game at tie break, but after the 25-19 win in fourth set, the second in the game after second set won 25-22, Trento was sure of the qualification and relaxed in the final tie break, with all the players from the bench on court (except Oleg Antonov, with some little physical problems), losing 15-6, but with in the pocket the pass for big final. Best player for Diatec Trentino was opposite Jan Stokr, 21 points with 52% in attack, 3 aces and 3 blocks for the Czech, the real go to guy for Diatec. As usual good game in all the fundamentals for Simone Gianelli, also 6 points for italian national team setter, and a solid game in attack for Tine Urnaut and Filippo Lanza, 16 points apiece for the two spikers.
