Every week these documentaries after famous sport program “La Domenica Sportiva” on Rai 2, tell about italian champions and representative players who made the history of italian sport. Next sunday 12th march, 30 minutes after midnight, the documentary will be dedicated to italian hero Ivan Zaytsev, italian national team spiker and opposite, a player who can represent for real the entire italian volleyball movement.

On sunday 12th march at 18.15 live on Rai Sport HD from PalaPanini, defending champs Azimut Modena will face another great challenge, after the great game played at Agsm Forum in Verona. Lorenzo Tubertini’s team forced to Game 3 the Quarterfinal versus Verona, after losing Game 1 at PalaPanini last saturday, and able to react and winning Game 2 last night in Verona at Agsm Forum, in a great fight, despite the 3-0. On the other hand Calzedonia Verona wasn’t able to finish on the home turf, and reaching the historical goal of the semifinals, never reached by the club in their history. Nikola Grbic’s team will have the chance to do it next sunday at PalaPanini, but after losing the chance to close the series on the home turf. So will be a no tomorrow game for both teams, in a great volleyball battle.

Top Volley Latina was forced to Eighth Finals of Playoff Challenge after the loss in last regular season’s game versus Vibo Valentia. Latina missed the direct access to quarterfinals, and now they will play versus former players like Dante Boninfante, Danilo Cortina and Todor Skrimov, now with Revivre Milano. Luca Monti’s team will play trying to erase the troubles of this regular season,closed at the bottom of the standings. In last game of regular season Revivre won in Latina, so Milano will try to continue this positive trend versus Danuele Bagnoli’s team.
Kioene Padova will try to take advantage of the home turf in Playoff Challenge Eighth Finals Game 1, where Coach Baldovin will play versus Superleague newcomer Biosì Indexa Sora. In last home game versus Sora, Padova clearly won. In previous games between these two teams, Padova won 11 of 18 games. Biosì Indexa Sora won the home game versus Kioene, 3-2 on the home turf. Sora was second to last in Superleague regular season standings, and despite this they would try to go as deep as possible in Playoff Challenge.
