A good and important win for Azimut Modena in Romania versus S.C.M.”U” Craiova, a clear 3-0 that put Roberto Piazza’s team to the next round of Champions League.
The Canarini dominated the games since the start, never giving any chance to the romanian to jump in to the game.
With this win Modena will have the access to the best 12 teams of Europe.
Once again Cucine Lube Civitanova has been perfect, by defeating clearly 3-0 Polish Asseco Resovia Rzeszow.
After the great win in the previous leg, Gianlorenzo Blengini’s team doubled the win versus the team of Kowal, dominating sisnce the start at Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova, in front of an huge and enthusiasti crowd, who celebrated the recent win if the Del Monte Italian Cup.
As usual Osmany Juantorena and Tsvetan Sokolov have been money in the bank for Blengini, 15 points apiece and a constant presence down the net. Good performance also for Klemen Cebulj, who played in place of Jiri Kovar, who rested together with Kaliberda, Corvetta, Casadei and Cester.
Four wins in four games for Sir Sicoma Colussi Perugia in Champions League.
With the tie break win in Russia versus Belgorod, Lorenzo Bernardi’s team clinched the playoffs of Champions League, and, most important thing, the Final Four in Roma, ad hosting team.
It was a great game in Russia, with Perugia without Ivan Zaytsev and Federico Tosi.
A good first set gave the lead to Perugia, in second Sir lost itself and suffered a 25-16 lost, giving the tie to Belgorod.
After a controversial call by the referees, who did not conceed a Video challenge to Lorenzo Bernardi, Belgorod won 26-24 the third set.
In the fourth Perugia fought back and forced the game at the tie break, winning the fifth and decisive set 15-11.
Great performance for the trio Atanasijevic-Russell-Berger, with a total of 49 points.

Strong performance of Diatec Trentino in Finland in Game 1 of CEV Cup Eight finals in Finland, a clear 3-0 win over VaLePa, that secure to Trento a good advantager looking for Game 2 in Trento, next Wednesday 15th February.
In front of serbian coach Nikola Grbic, Lpr Piacenza won easily versus the serbians of Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad. Coach Giuliani gave some rest to Luca Tencati and Fernando Henrnandez, having some good answers from Georgios Tzioumankas (15 points for the greek) and Simone Parodi (14 points). Viktor Yosifov in the middle collected 6 points.
It seems that Lpr is a stronger team than Vojvodina. But never say never in volleyball, so in the road match Alberto Giuliani’s team needs to be careful in Serbia. But remains a great and clear win for Piacenza, looking out to the CEV Cup quarterfinals, where, if they will clinch the spot, they will face the winner of the Eight final between Diatec Trentino and VaLePa Sastamala
