Champions League final four in Italy
Today, the European Confederation confirmed that the Champions League final four will take place in Italy. The club organizer will be Perugia, while the venue will be Roma’s PalaLottomatica on April 29-30.
Magri and Cattaneo present plans for Presidency
Today in Bologna, the two candidates for the presidency of the Italian Volleyball League, Carlo Magri and Bruno Cattaneo, presented their plans to the Lega clubs.
Before that, the President, Paola De Micheli said : « “The Federation of the future will have to study and intervene on the infrastructure of the sports arenas. Then the time has come to think about support to the clubs for what they do in their respective territories. Finally the Olympic Games have given great visibility to our sport, and it showed that our volleyball needs a strong investment on image to give continuity to the peaks of notoriety. Television broadcasting is present, the management of its rights exist, but we are in need of new marketing tools to tell our sport to the new generations”.
