Sora has been hit by the flu and left the three points to Verona but the group did show a resilient attitude and capacity to battle. « We played a good game against a quality side that belongs to the top part of the table – said spiker and captain Mattia Rosso – It was a tough match but I think we did well psychologically because we had been 2-3 days with half the team hit by the flu. We had a good attitude even if we could have done better at the end of the fourth set and we could have pushed it to a tie-break. I think we’d have deserved the fifth set but we can only learn from this defeat. Sometimes, things don’t work out for us, but maybe then we are at our best in other more difficult situations. This is part of our identity, we lack experience, we have young players. We cannot be who we are not. We always give our best, now we hope to take some points as well ».
