Alot of fans at PalaPanini for last game of regular season between Azimut Modena and LPR Piacenza. Standing ovation for Samuele Papi, in his last game as a player in the temple of volleyball. A good first set for Azimut, won 25-19. In second Lpr fought back, taking an early lead on 10-6. Good rhythm in attack for Piacenza, who grabbed the tie in the count of sets, by winning 25-19 the second. The third was a close one, in the crunch time is Maxwell Philip Holt to put on the court a couple of great serves, giving the win 25-21 to Modena. Also inthe fourth the game is on the edge, the score is always around the tie, but in the end the better experience of Modena made the difference, and Coach Tubertini’s team won set and match 25-23. Next saturday Modena will play quarterfinals game 1 at PalaPanini versus Calzedonia Verona.
