Zaytsev “Perugia mentally strong” 

Ivan Zaytsev, who scored 13 points, has a look back on Perugia’s home debut which ended in a 3-1 victory over Padova : « It’s been tough yesterday because we played 7 versus 5 – he smiled – I scored more points for then than for us. I’m obviously sorry about that. There was so many people at this opening game, they made so much noise you’d have though they were about twenty thousand. The atmosphere was amazing and we might have found it hard to overcome the initial emotion, we really wanted to give back to the fans that passion. It has to be said as well that Padova played loose and very well all game long. We did a great job of staying mentally strong ».
