Van Garderen: “So close to another tie-break”

Ducth spiker Maarten Van Garderen (19 points) looks back on the defeat against Verona: “I feel bitter after this loss, we had the opportunity to push it to the tie-break once again but it wasn’t to be. We’re very disappointed because we could have handled better the last rallies. We could have done a little more and we lacked that bit of luck when the difference is made on a couple of plays. Besides, a couple of controversial decisions went against us.
